Valentine Hallard, MA & MSc

Research Analyst

Valentine is a graduate of the University of Chicago, where she completed an MSc in Social Sciences. Prior to that, she graduated with a MA in cultural anthropology, a BA in political and social sciences, and a certificate in international human rights laws.

 

Passionate about social justice, she is committed to understanding complex contemporary issues and making a positive impact on the lives of people who are the most vulnerable. Drawing from her multidisciplinary background and research experience, Valentine brings a holistic perspective and integrated approach to human rights and social justice issues. Her research focuses on a variety of topics including child labor, women rights, internal displacement, homelessness, early childhood and education, with particular attention to social context and human experiences.

 

Today, Valentine is a research assistant at Start Early where she engages in research and evaluation projects aiming at improving outcomes for disadvantaged children and their families. Her commitment to equality and social justice led her to join HRRC where she hopes to raise awareness about human rights abuses and bring real changes to people’s lives.
