HRRC's Response:

Following days of arrests of media personnel, journalists, and government critics, on July 14th, mass raids of human rights groups took place in Belarus.

Despite external pressure from the United States, European Union, and UN Human Rights Council, the Belarusian government and law enforcement continue their arbitrary detention of those individuals who protested the presidential election results from last summer.

HRRC joins those international community and human rights organizations in condemning these blatant human rights violations.
