HRRC's Response:
As China continues its genocidal campaign against the Uyghur Muslims in Xinjiang, law makers worldwide continue efforts to pressure the government to end its crimes against humanity.
World leaders have started enacting trade bans and sanctions against China; Protests have led to calls for boycotting the Beijing Winter Olympics in 2022; and "Human rights lawyers presented a case to the International Criminal Court in June, urging the court to prosecute China for forced deportations of Uyghurs from Tajikistan back to China."
HRRC demands an end to the surveillance, torture, forced sterilization, genocide, and all other human rights abuses of Uyghur Muslims.
