Melissa is a highly skilled market researcher with a proven track record in designing and executing both quantitative and qualitative research projects. During her tenure at Virginia Tech, Melissa held the position of Market Research Analyst, where she played a pivotal role in identifying market demand for specific degrees and assessing the competitive landscape.
 

Melissa holds a Master of Arts degree in Sociology from George Mason University, graduating cum laude in December 2018. Additionally, she earned a Graduate Certificate in Survey Design and Data Analysis from George Washington University in 2015. Her academic qualifications provide her with a profound understanding of research principles and methodologies. Melissa is also a RIVA-trained focus group moderator.


Currently, Melissa is employed as a Survey Research and Data Analyst contractor through MBO Partners on behalf of Price Waterhouse Coopers. However, she is exploring full-time and fractional freelance opportunities. Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys biking, boating, and traveling.
