Originally from India, Ivan holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Mumbai University and a Master's in Data Analytics Engineering from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, where he currently resides.
During his last semester at George Mason, Ivan had the opportunity to work with the Puerto Rico Science, Technology & Research Trust as a Data Research Analyst, applying data-driven solutions to assess social vulnerability and enhance disaster preparedness and climate adaptation strategies. Ivan's efforts focused on safeguarding local communities in Puerto Rico, sparking his interest in exploring broader global humanitarian issues.
Ivan is excited join HRRC as a Research Analyst, where he will continue to raise awareness about critical international humanitarian challenges. This role will allow Ivan to apply his skills and passion for data analysis in a context that will make a tangible difference in addressing various human rights issues.
When not immersed in work and research, Ivan enjoys staying active with hobbies that include a spirited game of table tennis or soccer.
